Working for Nautic translations

In order to meet the growing needs of our clients, we are always looking for professional freelance translators and proofreaders.

Tell us your language combination, in which it is important that your target language is your mother tongue. The target languages for which we require translators are virtually unlimited, but our source languages are mostly Dutch, French, German and English.

It is extremely important that you are able to demonstrate you have experience in the maritime sector, either through your education, your profession or your translation experience. Your CV must clearly reflect this. Please also bear in mind that we will ask you to complete a test translation to verify that you able to deliver the necessary level of quality. As a final point, we only work with experienced translators, as we’ve learned from experience that translators who are just starting out often fail to meet our quality standards. You must have at least ten years of experience as a professional translator.
